DSLR quiz: Canon 10d and Canon 20d photo level?
Is there any difference between the two in language of the quality of images?
And which camera produces smaller amount noise?
Answers: Both cameras produce good images, but the 20D is purely a superior camera across the board and very low noise. I don't tail off shooting at ISO 800 if I need to. The noise is vastly, very manageable and next to the right subject, not a problem.
The 20D is really a superb image producer. It lacks some bells and whistles, but it be a standard to measure other cameras against for good purpose. Until Canon introduced the 40D, many people didn't hold a compelling reason to change from the 20D. I save mine as a backup camera and simply because it is such a nice camera to run around with all hours of daylight.

There is not a lot of difference surrounded by the two. Here is a comparison of the two plus the Canon 20Da which was modified for astrophotography

this means the 10d can only use ef-lens while the 20d can use any
also the the level of noise handling is different between camera, classification that the 20d can handle the higher rumpus better. As an example, let's say hypothetically, the 10d starts shows noticeable hubbub at iso 400, on the 20d that same amount of noise may appear on iso 800. so that means that at iso 1600, the 20d will produce impossible to tell apart noise as the 10d at 400.
