DSLR CHOICE!? Please HELP!

Which of these cameras would you choose and why?

I am currently trying to decide on a camera that I am going to buy this Thursday and I am extremely undecided on which I should choose. I own to stay within a certain budget and so far these are the three cameras that I enjoy found.

Could you please tell me which would be the best camera to choose for the price?

Here is what I have:

Nikon D40 18-55mm lens (458.00) BRAND NEW
Canon Rebel XTi 18-55mm lens (499.00) REFURBISHED
Sony A200 18-70 mm lens (499.00) BRAND NEW

I am penchant toward the canon since I have heard it is a great camera, but my one and only hold back is that is it refurbished. (factory unsurprisingly with a 90 day warranty through website).

Is buying a refurbed camera a right idea? PLEASE HELP!

Answers: Everyone is going to read aloud Nikon. They have a pretty good reputation and enjoy a cult like following. Between the Rebel and D40 it is going to come down to personal choice they are both very similar. See what ones have the little things you want. Go to the store and check them out first hand Then go look for the agreement online.

I buy Refurbished all the time. Its the way to jump i think. I love a good deal. Even if you buy alien there is a chance it will not work. With the factory refurbished ones you know someone looked it over inside and out. Where straight sour the belt they just put them in the box. I bought my Mac, Dyson, older Ipod, and my DSLR all refurbished. I never had a problem. BUT they hold all been FACTORY referb. That is the solitary way to go. Don't be worried you can always return it. It feels so apposite to save 100-300 on something you want.

My Mac is 3 years old still going strong I save 1,000 buying refurbished from apple. My Dyson I just got from Amazon I use it everyday and its fantastic I save $200. It feels so good to take a deal.
The Nikon's a great camera too. Read up on it as suggested above.

For me personally, the decision would be base on the details of the 'refurbished' product & the reputation of the dealer. At those prices, I am inclined to go next to the new product with a full warrantly. I do not come up with there is that much of a difference between those two cameras from a image feature perspective.

I am surprised that you have not also hear that Nikon cameras are good cameras to, since both Nikon and Canon are the two companies

I am also looking to buy a camera, the Fujifilm - Finepix S700 or the Kodak - EasyShare ZD710. They are not so expensive and it looks like a great camera!

Please please answer my question anyone:

canon vs nikon

ultimately is a choice only you can make. one-sidedly I like canon better. its probably wise to look at other brands but keep hold of in mind that their lenses are not quite as apposite.
