What is the difference between...?
I'm debating on purchasing a digital camera (upgrading from what I have now). What's the difference between a Canon SLR and an XTi?? I'm NOT a professional photographer, but I'm an avid cameraman (a) nightclubs & special events. Please relief me make the right choice-- price range between $400-650...
Answers: The XTi is a digital SLR or DSLR, whereas the describe SLR refers to a film SLR.
Single Lens Relfex, the kind of camera that you can amend lenses on and change shutter speed and aperture manually.
For nightclubs you will want a lens next to a wide aperture (lower f-stop number = larger aperture). Image Stabilization couldnt hurt either (IS).
