Cleaning an dated SLR camera....?
I was elated when I come across my old Canon AE-1 SLR camera the other day. It have a layer of dust, and I don't want to mess with it until I attain it professionally cleaned.
Are there still persons or companies that will verbs old cameras?
How do I go give or take a few it, and does it cost much?

Don't remove the lens or lens cap until you clean it.
If the dust is just on the outside, simply use a vacuum cleaner and the small round brush attachment to remove the loose dust. Just be gentile, the heavy or stuck on dust can be cleaned off near an armorall wipe, take a q-tip and rub it on the wipe for cleaning the hard to make corners. If the wipe is real wet permit it dry a little before you use it, try not to bring the area by any buttons or dials wet. If near is dust inside use a blower to clean the dust out. The blowers are available at most camera stores.
