Canon G10 Attachments?

I am very very alien to photography. so a few months back i didn't really wanted to invest much on a SLR, so i bought a canon G10 (heard it be like a semi pro cam). The stall that i bought from said that if wanted to mortgage more with it i can buy "attachments"

So was wondering can anyone grant specific details of those attachments i should look out for?
