Sony A200, to buy or not to buy?
Today I am planning to buy a sony A200, after saving for a Dslr for a while!
I cannot wait, is it worth the money? surrounded by the uk its around lb329 and that does not include carry case and memory card.
will these cost alot?
And most importantly I want to thieve professional photographs once I get used to the controls and settings? will this camera deliver the right kind of stats that I require to appropriate decent photographs?!
Answers: you can find a bag for $10, they can range on price depending on the features, from $10-$74
SD cards can be between $14-$90 depending on amount of GB
Sony DSLR-A200K Digital SLR Camera + Zoom Lens Kit (18-70 mm F3.5-5.6) is an Excellent budget DSLR and Perfect In Every Way

I've owned an A200 for over a year, and have found it to be an excellent entry-level DSLR. It take photographs in a high plenty resolution to allow for 8x10 and 10x13 prints, and it allows for a high amount of control in settings (f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, etc). It's noticeably in the category of "serious amateur" DSLRs, but I'm not sure if I'd call it a "professional" camera (most pros that I know use upper-end Nikons).
Compact flash memory (which the A200 uses) seem to be to start around lb12 for 4 gigabytes (enough for a long weekend vacation's worth of photography in my experience), and a case should cost you roughly lb40 or so. Source(s): www.mymemory.co.uk
