I am wanting to buy a different digital SLR, i want to spend somewhere 5 to 700.00, ?

what would the best buy for me, i want one with auto focus, i want to be able to purloin photos in the dark, and i only just want to know what would the best for me?
Answers: I second the 450D aka Kiss 2 aka XSi - The best camera for beginners IMO ..

However the kit lens is in the vicinity to worthless in low light situations. So you might other want to invest in a lens - maybe something resembling 50 1.4 or a cheap one like the 50 1.8. Not that these are more like portrait stills and even next to this you might have trouble in low pallid situations without a tripod or a good flash!
you have it in mind 5 to 700 USD?

I'll suggest you to go for Canon EOS 450D (also known as Rebel xsi).
This is a pretty gud 12 MPx camera for begginers.
You'll need a GOOD fast lens to use contained by the dark and that is going to cost more than the camera body!

Buy the Sony A200 for $499 and use money save to put towards another lens, do not spend all your money on the camera body, dSLRs offer pretty much duplicate performance at your budget, the lens is what is important.
For under $700 I would suggest canon Rebel XSi
12.2-megapixel CMOS sensor captures.Large 3.0-inch LCD display
DIGIC III representation processor provides fast, accurate image processing; better Autofocus and framing rate

or another good one Nikon D60 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012OG…
Hello.

I am going to second that answer. Canon's EOS 450d is a vastly good camera. It has twelve megapixels, a three inch peak *with live view, and has a few other quirky features you'll sure find adjectives. It also shoots at 3.5 frames per second, which is faster than usual for an entry level camera. In terms of an entry-level camera, it's great. I would recommend it. Now, you right to be heard you want to be shoot in low-light, you will need to go and get an additional lens for that, or simply use a tripod with the 18-55mm IS lens.

I suggest that you instruct the camera online, because you are going to save a lot contained by the long-run, trust me. all of my photography gear has be purchased online.
